Plans for the Second Half of 2017

It’s almost unbelievable half of 2017 is already over, isn’t it? My exams are behind (at least for now), which means I have more time to focus on my hobbies. These days I’m busy hosting couchsurfers, editing photos from Madeira (expect many blog posts) and doing some compulsive shopping online a.k.a. booking too many flights. So, what’s next?
Morocco

You might recall Morocco has been on my travel goals list for more than 2 years now because it’s so different from anything I’ve experienced. I’m crazily excited for exotic performers, chaotic markets, 1000 years old historical sites and sandboarding. We are headed there in September. Bring it on!

Not originally on my list to visit in 2017, but I just couldn’t help myself when I saw a €20 return flight. I won’t spend enough time there but I’m sure I’ll treat myself to a West End show and an afternoon tea during my short stay in October.
Madrid
I’ve been looking for a way to return to Madrid since the last time I was there. It’s still hard for me to understand how impossible it is to find a good connection from the airports nearby (Ljubljana, Venice, Vienna – looking your way!). After much research, I purchased my flight there this morning and I can’t stop smiling.

I’m hoping to spend next New Year’s Eve in England, however we have nothing booked yet so this one is still up in the air.
