Stress-free Holidays at Arina Sand Resort (Review)

Arina Sand Resort is a modern luxury 4* all-inclusive hotel right on the beach, close to Heraklion. Because of its amazing location and fantastic amenities, it’s ideal for anyone who wants to book stress-free holidays.

Location

The busy Heraklion is just €2 and 20-minutes bus drive away. You can catch the bus right in front of the hotel. The sandy beach is safe and clean, equipped with plenty of deck chairs for your comfort. It’s suitable for both, playful children and avid swimmers.

Rooms

We were staying in a spacious 28 m² double room with a lovely sea view. The beds were great, rooms cleaned daily and everything was fully functioning. It was a great place to escape to when needing some time for yourself.

Food

If there’s one thing I can guarantee you, is that you’ll never be hungry at this all-inclusive resort. The food was tasty and there was always plenty of choice. We also really enjoyed their wide range of delicious coctails. Chat with friendly bar staff and choose the one they recommend based on your likes – Ieva was a real star and we were never disappointed!

AMENITIES

All massages are done by professional physiotherapists. At the arrival, we were gifted a voucher for a 15-minutes massage and we both used it on Cretan massage. It was SO good!

Wireless internet access was hardly ever accessible for us. We sometimes got lucky and had it for a little while, but it’d soon disappear again. The staff at the reception was kind enough to let me use their computer to send an urgent e-mail. However, this may be just temporary issue that is now resolved.

Daily housekeeping: our room was cleaned and fresh towels were provided daily.

Entertainment all day long: during the day there are various activities run by the animation team such as table tennis, football, water polo, darts, volleyball, French boules, zumba, pilates and aqua gym.

Free on-site parking.

Costumer Service

Everyone was extremely kind to us, spoiling us all day long. They always left us thoughtful surprises at our table in the room, showing us real Cretan hospitality.
